Great to meet you!

You should know that I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental space for therapy. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and I take a collaborative approach to treatment that values each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, and I tailor therapy to meet the individual needs of each client. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and interpersonal challenges.

I believe therapy should feel safe, empowering, and practical. My goal is to help you develop effective coping skills, gain insight into their emotions and behaviors, and feel supported as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

I use evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping and emotional regulation skills. Treatment is individualized, drawing on your specific strengths, values, and goals.

I view therapy as both a space for insight and skill-building. Together, we work to increase self-awareness, build resilience, and support meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we focus on getting to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have for treatment. I may ask questions about your background, symptoms, and life experiences to better understand your needs.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you are hoping to gain from therapy, and determine if we are a good fit. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and discussing next steps, including treatment goals and potential therapeutic approaches.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more informed about the therapy process.
