Great to meet you!

My name is Na Maestas, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. My majority experience have been working with young children (birth - preschools, and 6-10 years old) and caregivers to address & thrive from concerns such as verbal and physical aggression, "defiant,"depressed/withdrawl, anxiety, difficulty focusing, exposure to past trauma, adjusting to family changes, etc. As I expanded my professional areas of practice, I enjoyed working with adult individuals addressing their personal, relational, and work stress stemming from parenting, anxiety, ADHD, and acculturation in the US. As a therapist, I focus on creating with you or caregivers; individualized strategies and practices toward sustainable healthy habits as a person individually, in relationship, and in a larger community.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My styles are warm, personal, trauma-informed, strength-based, and solution-focused. I draw knowledge and wisdom from both worlds: 1) Cognitive-Behavioral such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and 2) Experiential, Non-Directive, Mindfulness-Based Gestalt and Synergetic Play Therapy when addressing a child/individual/parent concern.

What you can expect from our first session

Finding roots and regulation in self and while in relationships.
