Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe that mental health support should feel conversational and welcoming. Taking the first step toward seeking help can be uncomfortable, and I strive to create an environment where adolescents and young adults feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their time with me.

With experience in inpatient care working with adolescents, as well as serving as a school social worker, I have supported young people through a variety of emotional and life challenges. My focus is on helping adolescents and young adults navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and adjustment-related issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, supportive, and client-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. I work collaboratively with adolescents and young adults to help them better understand their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will spend time talking about your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the experience. I’ll also answer any questions you may have so you can feel more comfortable with the process.

When appropriate, especially with adolescents and younger clients, I may incorporate activities such as board games to help create a more comfortable, natural connection and make the therapeutic space feel less intimidating.
