Dr. Nadege Barbe

I am a double board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist serving patients throughout Florida. I completed additional training to work with children, adolescents, and young adults, as I understand how early intervention is of utmost importance and can impact a person for many years to come.

I completed medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I continued to complete my general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, comprehensive DBT, and college counseling.

I consider it a privilege to listen to patients’ stories and work with them through life’s challenges. I am committed to working with socially, culturally, and economically diverse populations. My approach is never to be paternalistic; I try to meet my patients where they are and offer any help I can.

I am comfortable treating a variety of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, OCD, and many more.
