Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support isn't always easy, especially when you're carrying stress, grief, or challenges that feel difficult to navigate on your own. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, family issues, grief and loss, and cultural and ethnic concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward through life's transitions and relationship challenges. Whether you're coping with emotional stress, navigating family concerns, or working through difficult life experiences, therapy can provide a supportive space for healing and personal growth. My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself while creating a path forward that feels practical, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person's journey is unique, and therapy should provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and emotionally supported. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative, creating a space where we can work together to build tools that support everyday life. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Problem Solving Therapy (PST), psychoeducational interventions, and family therapy approaches to promote lasting growth and healing. Together, we may explore anxiety, depression, grief, family challenges, relationship concerns, stress management, anger management, women's issues, and cultural experiences that shape your life. Therapy is tailored to your goals while helping you strengthen coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life transitions with greater confidence and clarity.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you have space to share your story openly and honestly. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding, and collaboration. As we work together, you can develop healthier coping strategies, gain greater self awareness, and create a realistic path forward that reflects your needs and goals. Whether you're navigating grief, managing anxiety or depression, or facing difficult life transitions, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and better equipped to move forward with hope and confidence.
