I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and registered Supervisor for LPC/LMFTs in Virginia. I have worked extensively with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Anger Management, Domestic Violence (Victim and Abuser), Trauma, Grief, Verbal/Sexual/Physical Abuse, Substance and Alcohol Abuse. I have training in Multicultural Counseling and Faith Based Counseling. I have experience working with people of different ethnic, racial, religious, sexual orientation, and cultural backgrounds. I am a Third Culture Kid (TCK) and trained to deal with the unique experiences of TCKs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to Therapy is adapted to your unique needs. Mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and trauma focused therapeutic approaches used to help you better understand your stressors and learn coping strategies to deal with these stressors. I often use a solution focused approach. My goal is to help Clients find their inner strengths and empower them to live their best and most fulfilling lives.
