Great to meet you!

You do not have to arrive in therapy with clarity. Sometimes clarity is what we build together.

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation one where you do not have to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything figured out.

My role is to help you slow down, make sense of what you are carrying, and understand what may be shaping your thoughts, relationships, decisions, and patterns. Together, we create space for greater self-awareness, because awareness creates choice and choice makes meaningful change possible.

I work with adults and couples, including BIPOC clients, who are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, leadership pressures, and major life transitions. As a woman of color, it is important to me that therapy feels like a safe and affirming space where you can show up fully, move through uncertainty, and begin finding your way back to yourself.

Many of the people I support are capable, responsible, and accustomed to carrying a great deal for others, yet may feel disconnected from themselves, uncertain about what they need, or exhausted from constantly trying to hold everything together.

With a background in clinical social work and healthcare leadership, I understand the emotional weight that can come with balancing responsibility, achievement, relationships, and everyday life. My approach is compassionate, practical, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I will meet you with warmth and curiosity while also helping you recognize patterns, have honest conversations, build healthier ways of coping, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

Our work is not about turning you into someone new. It is about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become buried beneath survival, expectations, fear, or responsibility—and helping you create a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and genuinely your own.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, conversational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with greater self-awareness.

I create space for clients to slow down, speak honestly, and better understand the experiences, patterns, relationships, and beliefs that may be shaping their lives. You do not have to arrive with the right words or a clear plan. We can make sense of what you are carrying together.

My work is compassionate and supportive, but it is also practical and intentional. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, and gently challenge you when it may support your growth. Together, we will identify what is no longer serving you, strengthen healthier ways of coping and communicating, and develop tools you can use outside of the therapy room.

I draw from trauma-informed, strengths-based, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and parts-informed approaches, adapting our work to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I am also mindful of how culture, identity, family, leadership, and lived experience influence the way we understand ourselves and move through the world.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and able to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know one another and understand what brought you to therapy.

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly organized story or know exactly where to begin. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable, talk through what has been weighing on you, and explore what you hope may feel different through our work together.

I will ask questions about your current concerns, important life experiences, relationships, strengths, and goals. We may also begin identifying patterns or themes that could help us understand what is happening beneath the surface. You are always welcome to ask questions about my approach, the therapy process, or anything you need in order to feel more comfortable.

By the end of the session, we will begin shaping a direction for therapy together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about what our work could look like moving forward.
