Great to meet you!

I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare. My background in both primary care and mental health allows me to look at the full picture — understanding how physical health, emotional well-being, lifestyle, and relationships all connect.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, postpartum mood changes, stress, anger concerns, and relationship challenges. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you feel more balanced, confident, and in control of your overall health.

Clients often appreciate that I am straightforward yet compassionate. I value honesty, consistency, and creating a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, whole-person approach to treatment. I believe care should be individualized, collaborative, and realistic for your everyday life. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all plan, I work with you to develop strategies that align with your goals, responsibilities, and values.

Treatment may include medication management, supportive counseling, lifestyle adjustments, and skills to better manage stress or emotional challenges. I emphasize clear communication so you understand your options and feel confident in the decisions we make together.

My style is calm, grounded, and solution-focused. I aim to help you not only feel better, but function better at home, at work, and in your relationships.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about understanding your story. We will discuss what has been going on, how it has been affecting your life, and what you would like to see improve. I will ask thoughtful questions to get a clear picture of your mental and physical health history.

You can expect a respectful and comfortable environment where you are encouraged to speak freely. By the end of the visit, we will outline initial goals and a clear next step, whether that involves medication options, coping strategies, or additional support.

Most clients leave their first appointment feeling reassured, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
