Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m really glad you’re here. You might be going through a season that feels overwhelming whether it’s a major life transition, grief, substance use challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. Sometimes life shifts in ways we didn’t expect, and it can feel difficult to navigate on your own.

With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging and transformative moments. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Louisiana and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, and I work with individuals seeking clarity, stability, and a path forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped to move through whatever you’re facing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and begin creating practical, realistic ways to move forward.

While my work is structured, it never feels rigid. Our sessions are collaborative, supportive, and centered around what you need most. I’ll help you build insight into your experiences while also equipping you with tools you can actually use in your everyday life. My goal is to meet you where you are, while helping you grow into where you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. It’s completely normal to feel hesitant or even a little nervous. From our very first session, my focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace.

Our time together will feel supportive, grounded, and focused on you. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, begin to make sense of it, and identify clear, manageable steps toward change. Many clients find that over time, they feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.

Taking the step to seek support is not always easy, but it is a powerful step toward change. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re ready to begin working through what you’re facing and creating a path forward, I would be honored to support you in that journey.
