Great to meet you!

I'm a bilingual/bi-cultural Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in CA, w/ 8y of clinical experience. I've treated children, at-risk adolescents, adults and families in various settings, such as: in-home, school-based (k-12), telehealth, pediatric clinic & private practice. My therapeutic experiences are working with individuals to resolve symptoms including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, divorce, relationships, grief, self-esteem, trauma, & family conflicts.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is flexible & based on a client's individual needs. My primary orientation is CBT which emphasizes on recognizing how thoughts impact behaviors and changing negative thoughts to positive thoughts to promote better outcomes. Psychodynamic therapy aims to resolve current concerns, while focusing attention on their origin. Solution focused therapy identifies what can be done differently by using existing skills, strategies and ideas – rather than focusing on the problem.

What you can expect from our first session

As a therapist, I provide a safe environment with reflective listening & therapeutic interventions to help bring clarity, resiliency & insight. I have a passion for helping, inspiring and empowering others to identify their strengths and capabilities. My overall objective within the therapeutic process is to help individuals feel supported as we work together to develop a treatment plan with obtainable goals that result in a healthy and fulfilling life.
