Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a deep passion for supporting individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges and increasing accessibility to essential resources. As a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work, I bring a strong clinical foundation supported by a wide range of hands-on experience, including work in Emergency Psychiatric Services at Boston Children’s Hospital and residential care for underserved populations. I strive to provide a relaxed, safe space where clients can show up as they are and feel truly supported throughout their treatment. I view therapy as a collaborative process between myself and my clients—centered around their goals, their needs, and their growth. As a first-generation Latina and proud LGBTQIA+ ally, I am committed to offering culturally informed, compassionate, and affirming care that fosters healing, empowerment, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is grounded in a relaxed, calm, and comforting approach that invites clients to feel truly valued and heard. I prioritize building strong, authentic relationships from the very beginning, as I believe trust is a foundational component of meaningful therapeutic work. By creating a warm and supportive environment, I aim to help clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences at their own pace while knowing they have a consistent, compassionate partner alongside them in the process.

What you can expect from me

In an introductory session with me, clients can expect a relaxed, conversational space focused on getting to know one another. I take time to learn about their background, current concerns, and what they hope to gain from therapy, while also encouraging them to ask questions and share anything that will help them feel comfortable. This first meeting is not about pressure or diving too deep—it’s about building a foundation of trust, clarifying goals, and ensuring they feel supported from the very start. My aim is for clients to leave the session feeling understood, reassured, and confident that they have a safe place to return to.
