Great to meet you!

Life doesn't always fall apart all at once. Sometimes it shifts — slowly or suddenly — and you find yourself standing in the middle of something you didn't plan for, not quite sure how to find your footing again.

I work with adults — particularly women — who are navigating major life transitions: divorce, career change, grief and loss, identity shifts, postpartum challenges, relationship changes, and the complex process of figuring out who you are when everything around you has changed.

My name is Nadine Cramer, and I've been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for over 22 years. I'm licensed in both Ohio and Pennsylvania and see clients throughout both states via telehealth. Over the course of my career I've worked in inpatient psychiatric settings, outpatient community mental health, and private practice. I've facilitated groups for postpartum depression, anger management, alcohol and substance use recovery, and cognitive restructuring — and I've brought everything I've learned in those settings into my private practice work.

My approach to therapy

My style is direct and warm — I'll be honest with you, and I'll also be in your corner. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I tailor my approach to you — not a one-size-fits-all protocol

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a dedicated space to get to know each other and lay the foundation for your work together.

During this appointment, Nadine will ask about your personal history, current concerns, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. This conversation helps build a full picture of where you are and what may be contributing to the challenges you're experiencing. A formal diagnostic assessment will also be completed during this session — this is a standard part of the intake process and helps ensure that your care is tailored to your specific needs.

You'll also have the opportunity to talk about what you're hoping to get out of therapy — your goals, what you'd like to feel or do differently, and what a meaningful outcome looks like for you.

Nadine will take time to explain her approach and walk you through what the therapeutic process typically looks like, so you know what to expect moving forward. This is also your time to ask questions — about her background, her methods, or anything else that will help you feel confident and comfortable moving forward.

The goal of this first appointment is simple: for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and clear on your next steps.
