Great to meet you!

My name is Nadine Williams, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C). I have completed two post-master’s certificates through Purdue University and have extensive experience in primary care, geriatrics, and psychiatry. My background allows me to understand both the medical and emotional aspects of mental health, providing a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to care.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and CBT-informed therapy tailored to each individual’s needs. When desired, I also offer faith-based support as part of treatment.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop practical coping tools, and create a clear path toward greater balance, stability, and lasting emotional wellness.

You do not have to navigate mental health challenges alone. My goal is to help you feel more confident, empowered, and in control of your well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe mental health treatment works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. From our first session, I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly about your concerns and goals.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, thoughtful medication management, and CBT-informed therapy. I take time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and medication choices so you feel informed and empowered in decision-making. Treatment plans are personalized and adjusted as your needs evolve.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns. My background as medical practitioner along with psychiatry care allows me to consider the full picture of your health, including medical conditions that may impact mental wellness.

When desired, I also integrate faith-based support into treatment. My goal is to help you build practical coping tools, strengthen your resilience, and create lasting emotional balance, stability, and confidence.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to share your story at your own pace. My priority is to help you feel heard, understood, and respected from the very beginning.

We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discussing your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, medical background, and any previous treatment experiences. I will also ask about your goals—what you would like to see improve and how you want to feel moving forward. This session is just as much about you getting to know me as it is about me getting to know you.

By the end of our first visit, we typically:

  • Clarify your primary concerns and possible diagnoses
  • Identify immediate priorities for symptom relief
  • Discuss treatment options, including therapy approaches and, if appropriate, medication
  • Establish clear, realistic goals for your care

You will leave with a better understanding of your symptoms, a collaborative treatment plan, and clear next steps. My goal is for you to walk away feeling hopeful, supported, and confident that you do not have to navigate this journey alone.
