Great to meet you!

As a Black female Licensed Mental Health Clinician with nearly five years of experience, I hold deep respect for the ways culture, identity, and intergenerational experiences shape us. I bring curiosity, compassion, and cultural awareness to our work. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, self-worth, trauma, or life transitions, this is a space where your whole self is welcome.

My approach to therapy

At Therapy With Dira, I take a relational, tailored approach to therapy because no two people are the same, and your story deserves to be honored as uniquely yours. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process or a formal set of instructions meant to simply hand you tools and skills. It’s about creating the safety and space to make real contact with yourself and with another person. In that connection, something deeper can unfold: the opportunity to show up more fully, more authentically, and to experience what it means to truly be seen, understood, and in relationship, with yourself and with others.

What you can expect from me

I believe that healing happens in the context of trust. That kind of trust takes time, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as we build a relationship rooted in mutual respect, honesty, and care. Together, we co-create a space where you don’t have to perform, shrink, or hide. You get to just be, and from there, we explore what’s been getting in the way of living more freely and fully.
