Great to meet you!

I have a heart for people. Understanding that life can become challenging, and that sometimes we feel backed against a wall, my desire is to support people by providing a safe space where they can take an introspective look and identify the root causes of their unwanted thoughts, behaviors, and language.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using active listening skills, my approach to therapy is to give my client the time and safe space to share what emotional aches and pains they possess. In listening, I can identify some causes to my client's concerns. Then, in casual conversation, I employ the most appropriate therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength Based.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to take away from our sessions the results of careful and honest discussions and solutions to some of their issues, the feeling of being respected and cared for, and a better understanding of how to address their situations from an emotional perspective.
