Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Naheed. I work with adults (18+) who are navigating anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on compassion, patience, and respect. Every person’s story and experiences are unique, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring your experiences, and working toward meaningful change.

I understand that these experiences can affect emotional well-being, relationships, self-esteem, and how individuals view themselves and the world around them. My approach is trauma-informed, focusing on creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered as they work toward healing and personal growth.

In addition to my clinical experience, I bring personal understanding of women’s mental health experiences, including the challenges associated with postpartum depression. This perspective allows me to approach therapy with compassion and empathy while supporting women as they navigate the emotional, relational, and identity changes that can come with motherhood and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, meaning our work together is guided by your goals, your pace, and what matters most to you. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in gaining insight, developing coping strategies, and creating meaningful change.

Using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand cognitive distortions, explore their values, and develop practical tools to manage emotions and life challenges.

Therapy with me is both supportive and practical. Together, we will focus on building skills that can be applied in everyday life to improve emotional wellness, strengthen relationships, and support personal growth.

I offer telehealth sessions to provide convenient and accessible care from the comfort of your own space. If you are ready to take the next step, I welcome you to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will complete the intake process and begin getting to know each other. I will review confidentiality and the limits of confidentiality so you have a clear understanding of your privacy and rights in therapy.

We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and any challenges you may be experiencing. Together, we will identify your goals and create a treatment plan that supports your needs and personal growth.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share openly at your own pace and feel empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.
