Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Nailin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and PhD Candidate in Couple and Family Therapy. As a Cuban immigrant, I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I also provide services in Spanish (¡Hablo Español!). I specialize in helping clients navigate relationship challenges, including conflict, domestic violence, parenting stress, and family-of-origin concerns. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

I believe that our relationships, past and present, shape how we experience ourselves and others. In therapy, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building greater clarity, confidence, and connection. My approach is compassionate, practical, and insight-oriented, helping clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and respond to challenges in new ways. I work collaboratively and tailor therapy to your unique goals and circumstances.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to understand what brings you to therapy and what you hope will be different in your life or relationships. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, important relationships, and relevant history while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. Together, we'll identify initial goals and discuss next steps so you leave with a clear sense of direction and what we'll be working toward.
