Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Najwa Azizi, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, stress, and burnout through a personalized and collaborative approach to care. With a background in both behavioral health and critical care nursing, I understand the importance of treating the whole person — emotionally, mentally, and physically. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow, heal, and reach their full potential.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should feel supportive, collaborative, and empowering. My approach focuses on building genuine connections with clients while creating a safe, judgment-free space where they feel heard and understood. I take a holistic and individualized approach to treatment, combining evidence-based medication management with therapeutic support, mindfulness techniques, and practical coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, burnout, maternal mental health concerns, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients improve emotional wellness, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, and create lasting positive change. My goal is to help each client feel supported throughout their journey while working together toward stability, healing, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns, experiences, and goals. I take time to truly listen and understand each client’s unique background, symptoms, stressors, and strengths so we can create a personalized treatment plan together.

The initial session typically includes discussing mental health history, current challenges, lifestyle factors, coping patterns, and any previous treatment experiences. We will also explore goals for treatment and identify practical steps toward improving emotional wellness, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. My goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about their journey toward healing and growth.
