Great to meet you!

I am a clinician dedicated to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in meeting people exactly where they are. I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, substance use challenges, and the emotional weight of family or relationship stress.

In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and learn skills that genuinely support your day-to-day life. I focus on building trust, understanding the full picture of each person’s strengths and struggles, and helping clients make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for them.

Beyond therapy, I mentor developing clinicians and support wellness programs, which keeps me connected to both the clinical and community sides of mental health. I believe in whole-person care, collaboration, and helping every client recognize that they are worthy of stability, growth, and peace.

My approach to therapy

• Meet clients exactly where they are. You pay close attention to what they’re experiencing right now, rather than forcing a rigid model or agenda.

• Focus on whole-person wellness. You consider emotional, behavioral, social, and environmental factors when understanding a client’s story.

• Use a trauma-informed lens. You remain aware of how past harm shapes current patterns, and you go gently when exploring histories of abuse, neglect, or instability.

• Support emotion regulation. You help clients recognize feelings, manage panic, understand triggers, and build coping skills they can actually use.

• Address substance use without shame. You stay clinical, grounded, and nonjudgmental when working with clients who self-medicate or struggle with addiction.

• Encourage empowerment. You highlight strengths, growth, and resilience, and you reinforce the idea that clients deserve stability and peace.

• Stay collaborative. You don’t dictate; you partner. You help clients make sense of their lives and move toward the goals they define.

The overall vibe: Compassion forward, clinically grounded, and focused on helping clients feel understood, capable, and supported.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on creating a grounded and welcoming space. I take time to understand what brings you in, and I guide the conversation in a way that feels natural rather than clinical or rushed. You’ll have the opportunity to share your history, current concerns, and anything that has been weighing on you, and I will hold that with care and without judgment.

I explain my role, how therapy works with me, and what you can expect as we move forward. Together, we explore what you hope to gain from therapy and begin shaping realistic goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

If emotions come up, that’s completely welcome. I stay present, steady, and supportive, and I help you stay grounded. My intention is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that you have a partner in this work.
