Great to meet you!

Seeking mental health care is an important step, and I strive to make the process feel comfortable, collaborative, and empowering. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.

I earned my degree from California State University, Long Beach, and have more than seven years of experience working with underserved and culturally diverse communities. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients in community mental health settings, acute inpatient psychiatry, and county correctional facilities, giving me experience treating individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and life circumstances.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and other mood-related conditions. I believe that effective treatment begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education, and practical coping strategies

My approach to therapy

One aspect of my practice that sets me apart is my passion for helping patients build meaningful coping skills. I enjoy exploring new hobbies and wellness activities myself so I can better understand how they may benefit others. I encourage patients to discover healthy strategies that fit their interests, values, and lifestyle, allowing them to develop lasting tools for managing stress and improving overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am committed to providing culturally responsive, inclusive care where every patient feels respected, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to improve your mental health, strengthen resilience, and help you live a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you are seeking support for a recent challenge or managing a long-term condition, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward wellness.
