Great to meet you!
Seeking mental health care is an important step, and I strive to make the process feel comfortable, collaborative, and empowering. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.
I earned my degree from California State University, Long Beach, and have more than seven years of experience working with underserved and culturally diverse communities. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients in community mental health settings, acute inpatient psychiatry, and county correctional facilities, giving me experience treating individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and life circumstances.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and other mood-related conditions. I believe that effective treatment begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education, and practical coping strategies
