Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of experience supporting clients across a variety of settings, including juvenile detention centers, foster care, schools, and community mental health clinics. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I
I believe in meeting each client where they are and creating a safe, supportive space to grow at their own pace. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches, to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Together, we work to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and strengthen resilience. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.
During our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and create a comfortable, supportive space where you can share at your own pace. We will explore what brought you to therapy and what you are hoping to work on or change in your life. I will also ask some questions to better understand your background and current concerns so we can begin identifying your goals together. By the end of the session, we will start to outline a direction for our work and what you can expect moving forward.
