Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Namande H. Musoke, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care through a collaborative, trauma-informed approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management with careful attention to the factors that shape mental health, including relationships, stress, physical health, work, family, and personal values. When appropriate, I collaborate with therapists, primary-care clinicians, and other members of your care team.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, confidential conversation focused on understanding you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We will discuss what brought you to care, your current concerns, your mental-health and medical history, any medications you take, past treatment experiences, and the personal, family, work, or relationship factors affecting your well-being.

I will also ask about your treatment goals and what you hope will feel different over time. Together, we will review possible diagnoses when appropriate, discuss treatment options, and create an initial plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle supports, coordination with other providers, or referrals for additional services.
