Great to meet you!

My curiosity and interest in human mind started as a child while reading novels and learning history. Nothing was more interesting than unraveling human mind. I studied psychology and philosophy in college but wanted more. The strong urge to saturate my curiosity brought me to New York from Seoul. My journey in psychology continued in two graduate schools, ten years of clinical trainings, teaching, supervising, volunteering, conducting independent studies and search.

Every day, I continue to grow both as a psychologist and a person alongside my clients.

Being a psychologist is not just a job. It's what defines me.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative journey—one that honors vulnerability, wound, desire, and hope.

Therapy is more than problem-solving. It’s a practice of self actualization— learning to hold discomfort with courage, to relate to oneself with compassion, and to live intentionally.

At the center of my work is a deep commitment to understanding the human mind in all its complexity and supporting clients as they move toward discovery and clarity.

Healing begins with understanding—not only of symptoms, but of the deeper layers of human experience.

To tackle the complexity of human mind, I apply a variety of clinical and philosophical methods

What you can expect from me

We begin with the reasons that brought you here—your motivation, emotional pain, and any unresolved concerns. This is good time to observe how we are connecting, feeling, and working together to build our unique therapeutic relationship.

Therapy begins with two people showing up—one with questions, the other with presence—and together, something new begins to grow.
