Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in CO. I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from CU, Denver and received my BA in Psychology from Middlebury College. I have cultivated my passion for mental health through researching child development at The National Institutes of Health, counseling adolescents with substance use disorders and children with trauma, and working with adolescents and families at Eating Recovery Center. I have been in private practice since 2021.

My approach to therapy

I have personally recovered from an eating disorder and have dealt with issues with anxiety and depression in my past, and so from the bottom of my heart, I want to offer my clients a hand to hold from right alongside them in their own journey to mental health and self-compassion. I have navigated this path from a professional and personal lens and I bring both of these powerful viewpoints to every session. I am your guide, but I am indeed also your companion and fellow survivor of suffering.

What you can expect from me

I believe in centering each session around our therapeutic bond. That means that clients can expect to feel connected, safe, honored, and unconditionally accepted in our work together. I use evidence-based counseling techniques, promote distress-tolerance skills, and believe that our work together should be firmly rooted in warmth. Clients walk away from session with a sense of direction aligned with their values, a skill or tool to help them get there, and a companion on their journey in me.
