My approach to therapy

I believe that every individual deserves compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based mental health care. My approach is centered on building a trusting, nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I take time to understand each person’s unique experiences, concerns, and goals before developing a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. By combining psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, psychoeducation, and collaborative decision-making, I strive to help clients achieve lasting emotional wellness, resilience, and an improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and confidential environment where we will take time to get to know one another. I will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation by discussing your current concerns, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and treatment goals. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, or referrals when appropriate. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling understood, informed, and hopeful about your path toward better mental health.
