Great to meet you!

Society places an incredible amount of pressure on individuals, specifically racial/ethnic minorities, LGBTQ persons, and persons with disabilities. As you navigate exploring and developing your identity, you may experience distress and symptoms that make it difficult to accomplish your goals and live authentically. Your habits and behaviors function to make life more tolerable. A closer examination of your coping skills can help you learn which paths of healing are most beneficial for you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide affirmative therapeutic spaces that are trauma-informed and strength-based. I provide empathetic, nonjudgmental support so that you can explore your strengths in order to improve your quality of life. Together, we will examine how your current environment is contributing to your well-being. We will collaborate on goals and a plan to achieve them.

What you can expect from our first session

It is completely understandable to experience additional pressure from external sources as we grow and develop into our most authentic selves. I invite you to create a therapeutic space where you can process the challenges you're experiencing so that you can continue to evolve into the person you want to be.
