Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying anxiety, depression, or the weight of life's transitions for longer than you should have to, you don't have to keep doing it alone. I'm Dr. Nancy Dawson,

a therapist with 20 years of experience working with adults, older adults, and seniors. My approach is whole-person and faith-informed, rooted in Christian counseling while honoring each client's unique background. Whether you're navigating ADHD, trauma, grief, or the complexities of aging, I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative, whole-person framework, looking at the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of your life to understand what's driving your struggles and build a clear path forward. Depending on your needs, I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches. We often begin with a psychological evaluation to inform a personalized care plan, then set concrete goals in each domain. Clients have reported symptom reduction, achievement of their personal goals, and stronger coping skills long after treatment ends.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a collaborative conversation where I'll ask about what brought you in, your history, and your goals, and we'll determine together whether we're a good fit. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction. I offer a free 15-minute consultation before your first session, and all sessions are conducted via secure video/telehealth.
