Great to meet you!

As an emigrant eldest daughter, I understand firsthand the complexities of life — the different hats we learn to wear, the instinct to overfunction, to hold everything together for everyone else. I know what it's like to carry that weight, and I bring that understanding into my work with clients.

I'm passionate about connecting with people who feel like something is holding them back from living the life they want — from showing up as their authentic self. My own experiences have shaped how I see and support the people I work with, and I hope to help you feel less alone in figuring out what's keeping you stuck, and what it might look like to move through it.

Dr. Nancy Graies, PsyD, MFT — licensed clinical psychologist. PsyD, Alliant International University (2022); MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, University of La Verne (2016).

My approach to therapy

I work in a warm, collaborative way, creating a safe space where you feel heard and respected. My approach is integrative, meaning I use a mix of evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs and goals. I specialize in supporting people through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Together, we’ll build a strong partnership focused on your growth and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know you. I'll ask about your background your family, the culture you grew up in, and the environment that shaped you along with what's brought you in and what you're hoping to get out of our work together.

I want to understand how your upbringing and experiences have shaped the way you see yourself and the world, so that the support I offer actually fits who you are.
