Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I try to make sure my client always feels comfortable, so they can open up.

I have a master's degree in social work from Loyola University in Chicago. I graduated in 1996 and have worked as a clinical social worker since then.

I began specializing in trauma after adopting a sibling group from fostercare about 20 years ago. I got to see some of the fall out from trauma first hand. I also realized there was a huge need for quality trauma treatment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe therapeutic connection is very important. After connecting with a client, I will use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help the client decrease their pain and improve their life. I'm trained in a variety of modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems therapy and CBT.

What you can expect from our first session

After a session, a client should feel some symptom relief and hope.
