Great to meet you!

As a bicultural and bilingual clinician, I understand that mental health is complex and shaped by personal history, culture, and lived experience. I take a culturally informed approach to therapy and aim to create a space where each person feels genuinely understood and respected.

I work with adults across the lifespan who are navigating trauma, anxiety, mood difficulties, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening resilience, and moving toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to understand your experiences, clarify your values, and identify meaningful goals for change.

While reducing distressing symptoms is important, my focus extends beyond symptom relief. I aim to help clients build a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and aligned with what matters most to them.

My primary framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrated with culturally informed and trauma-informed perspectives. I find this approach allows us to develop practical tools while also supporting deeper and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. In our first session, we will focus on understanding what has brought you to therapy and what you hope might change in your life.

I approach this conversation with curiosity and openness, taking time to learn about your experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we will begin identifying priorities for therapy and discussing what the process may look like moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session with a clearer sense of direction and whether working together feels like a good fit.
