I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and hold an M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Houston. I most often work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, loss, grief, sadness, as well as relationship, identity, and career difficulties.
I engage in a person-centered approach to therapy. I hold the belief that each person possesses the power to change, and that a safe, trusting relationship is a key to allowing that power to come forth. Whatever you are feeling—lonely, confused, sad, excited, worried, overlooked, insignificant—I will try to see you, to understand you, and to hold a space that enables you to better know yourself.
I greatly enjoy people and listening to their stories. Clients can expect a safe, judgment-free environment which allows them to express hurts, disappointments, anxieties, or trauma. I consider it an honor when I’m allowed to witness someone's growth and change.
