Dr. Nanda Mamane is a dedicated licensed psychologist with diverse clinical experiences, ranging from helping children cope with trauma to supporting adults struggling with chronic physical and mental health issues. Her research and clinical work are guided by a social justice and equity lens, with a particular interest in bereavement and grief outcomes. She is committed to providing trauma-informed care and aims to contribute to the greater movement of enhancing psychoeducation, reducing stigma, and improving empathic medical care.
After earning her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) she completed her Postdoctoral residency at NSU’s Psychology Service Center, Adult Services Program. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship in Consultation/Liaison Services at Broward Health Medical Center. When she is not seeing clients, she serves as an adjunct professor and intensive supervisor at NSU’s College of Psychology.
