Great to meet you!

I have more than 30 years experience as a therapist, and I've been fortunate to have extensive training on key mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress. I studied clinical psychology and counseling, and after my master's degree, I trained as a marriage and family therapist for three years. Currently, I focus on helping clients identify the core beliefs they hold that are holding them back from moving forward in life.

My approach to therapy

I work as a partner with clients in creating a safe therapeutic relationship where it's comfortable to share feelings and history. I believe most progress in therapy is a product of the safe environment we create.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a chance for you to tell me your reasons for seeking therapy, what's bothering you, and what you'd like to achieve. If we have time, I'll ask some questions that help me understand the way your mind and feelings work. I'll also ask some specific questions that will help us create a path forward for our work together.
