Nanu Ogunyoku

Provides psychiatry care services to patients ages 6 &up. Prior to starting Phoenix Minds, I was a Nurse Practitioner at Heartland Physicians, worked inpatient, outpatient setting@ Woodland Springs Hospital, Westpark springs behavioral Hospital, Consulted for Encompass health in Woodlands& vision park.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Arlington, and Master of Science in Nursing immediately after. Board certified by ANCC and have 19 years of Nursing experience.

I am known to show empathy with great listening skills while being a patient advocate. I utilize an wholistic care approach with all my clients making sure they leave each session very satisfied and well heard. I make sure they do not feel just like another number.

My goal is to make sure you leave our sessions feeling heard and with a solution. Another goal of mine is to eradicate mental stigma and help patients and their families achieve their goal of maximum functionality within the society.
