Great to meet you!

I have a Nursing Doctorate, an MSN in Psychiatric Nursing and BA in Latin American Studies. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and certified in perinatal mental health. I believe in treating the whole person, not just prescribing medication. I work with nutrition, movement, sleep, time in nature, intentional socialization. I use supportive therapy with medication visits. I truly love what I do.

My approach to therapy

I provide a careful and thorough psychiatric assessment. We talk about your goals and preferences and together we work out a treatment plan that will give you back your life and your joy. You are welcome and safe.

What you can expect from me

The first session, or maybe the first two sessions, will consist of a lot of questions and listening by me. There is preliminary paperwork which has a lot of screening questionnaires that help to focus the first interview. You will feel heard and seen. I will not ask the details of any trauma that you may have experienced, only whether or not it happened and what your symptoms are in the present.
