Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, especially when you’re not sure what to expect.
My goal is to make your first session feel comfortable, welcoming, and judgment-free. We’ll begin by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different.
You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—we’ll start wherever you are.
I’ll ask questions about your experiences, strengths, and what’s happening in your life so I can understand the bigger picture and tailor our work to you. You’ll also have plenty of space to ask questions, share what you need, and get a feel for how I work. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and finding a path forward that feels realistic and meaningful for you.
There’s no pressure to have all the answers on day one.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, consider this your invitation to take that first step.
