Great to meet you!

Exhausted from masking and trying to fit into a world not built for your nervous system? Your burnout is not a personal failure, and you don't have to navigate this alone.

As an LMHC with 10+ years of experience—personally and professionally rooted in the disability community—I offer practical, collaborative therapy in fluent ASL and spoken English. Here, you won't need to spend session time educating your therapist about disability or queer culture.

Who I Serve: Deaf, HoH, DeafBlind, neurodivergent (ADHD/Autism), and LGBTQIA+ adults.

Specialties: • Autistic & ADHD Burnout • Trauma & Systemic Stress • Chronic Illness & Disability Navigation

No scripts or masking required. Together, we’ll move out of survival mode and build a sustainable life that honors your actual capacity.

Ready for therapy where you can drop the mask? Reach out today to schedule a session.

My approach to therapy

I don’t do textbook clichés or rigid, one-size-fits-all treatments. Instead, I utilize clinically proven, evidence-based interventions that are specifically tailored to respect your actual energy levels and neurotype:

  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Traditional CBT tells you to "fix your thoughts." Together, we use a modified, neuroaffirming CBT approach to separate actual biological or executive functioning barriers (like ADHD paralysis) from unhelpful self-criticism and shame.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills: We will pull directly from DBT to build concrete tools for emotional regulation and distress tolerance. This means replacing overwhelming protocols with highly practical, sensory-based grounding strategies that help you navigate intense "thought loops" and panic.
  • Trauma-Informed & Strengths-Based Care: Your history and lived experiences matter. Our work is grounded in trauma-informed principles, focusing on nervous system regulation so you can feel safe in your body while navigating systemic or accessibility barriers.

What We’ll Build Together

We will work collaboratively to create low-demand, sustainable strategies that actually work when your battery is at 10%. We will always focus on what matters most to you, building a life that honors your capacity and respects your unique strengths.

What you can expect from me

First sessions can feel intimidating—especially if you are already running on fumes or are used to having to "mask" your struggles to feel understood. Please know that you do not need to have anything figured out, and you don’t need a perfectly rehearsed timeline of your life to start. Our first session is simply an open, low-pressure conversation to see how it feels to work together. We will talk about what is making life feel the heaviest right now, look at a bit of your background, and highlight your natural strengths.

Paced to Your Energy Levels

My approach is completely collaborative. If your battery is low, we will pace the session to match your comfort level. You don’t have to perform, and there are no wrong answers. I will ask gentle questions, listen closely, and help you untangle the overwhelm.

By the end of our first 53 minutes, we will have:

  • A Shared Understanding: A clearer picture of how your current stressors, neurotype, or physical health are interacting.
  • Clear Priorities: A collaborative decision on what we want to tackle first, so you aren't left guessing.
  • A Realistic Roadmap: A concrete sense of the next steps toward building a life that actually honors your capacity.

Come exactly as you are. I’ll meet you there.
