Great to meet you!

I am triple board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. I was an assistant professor at Yale New Haven Hospital.

I am well-versed in the importance of developmental perspective in treating patients of all ages who are suffering from mental illness or personality disorders, throughout the life cycle. I have extensive clinic experiences in settings of inpatient, clinic, correction facilities and emergency cares for all age patient populations.

My approach to therapy

I respect the patients and honor their values, preferences, and needs. I ensure transparent, and understandable communication with my patients. I provide empathy and psychological care to alleviate stress, and emotional challenges that may accompany health challenges. I offer comprehensive care ensuring a balanced and holistic approach to healthcare. I recognize the role of family and loved ones in supporting the patient’s well-being and including them in the care process when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

After the session, my clients can gain a deeper understanding of their mental health condition, develop coping mechanisms to manage symptoms, learn strategies to improve their overall wellbeing, and potentially receive medication management guidance from sessions with a psychiatrist; essentially, a better equipped ability to navigate challenges related to their mental health through professional support and insights
