Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I graduated cum laude as a Hillman Scholar from the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing in 2011. In 2023, I earned my Master’s degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from CUNY Hunter College, graduating magna cum laude. During my studies, I was a Cabrini Fellow and received the Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice. I have been practicing outpatient psychiatry with a focused clinical interest in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mental health in healthcare professionals, ICU-related PTSD, and grief psychiatry.

I founded a hospital-wide initiative addressing moral distress among healthcare workers and have presented on this topic at multiple nursing association forums, advocating for systemic support and clinician well-being.

In my work with individual clients, I bring warmth, respect, and a deep appreciation for each person’s unique narrative. My approach is collaborative and solution-oriented. I seek to understand the root causes of distress while partnering with clients to develop practical, sustainable strategies that support healing, resilience, and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is both warm and practical. I recognize that each individual brings a unique narrative and lived experience, and I am genuinely interested in understanding that story. I value patience and believe that the most effective treatment emerges from a collaborative partnership. I believe in working together to develop thoughtful, individualized strategies that support meaningful and lasting progress.

What you can expect from me

Following a free 15-minute consultation call, our initial intake session will include a comprehensive review of your medical, social, and psychological history, allowing me to fully understand your story and current concerns. We will prioritize building a strong therapeutic rapport grounded in trust, safety, and mutual respect.

In many cases, medication may be prescribed at the conclusion of the first session; however, some situations may require additional evaluation or consideration of alternative treatment approaches. An in-person visit is often required for the initial intake.

My goal is to help you identify the treatment plan that best aligns with your needs and supports you in living a life guided by your values.
