Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Naomi Ortega, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Fulfilling my role as a therapist means a great deal to me, as does building genuine connections with my clients. It is through that genuine connection that I hope to assist you in navigating through depressive, anxious, traumatic, and stress-related symptoms. I aim to provide treatment through a culturally sensitive lens so I am very open to learning from my clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I center my practice around psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive approaches. It is important to examine one’s past relationships and experiences in order to find the resources needed to grow within themselves. Having an eclectic approach has proved useful when confronting hardships such as grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship issues.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to assist you in gaining self-awareness by exploring your identity, cultural values, and belief systems. I hope to be an empathic ear and provide a warm space for you to share what has been heavy to carry candidly. Together, we can work on building self-compassion and creating space for your strengths to flourish.
