Great to meet you!

If you’re the one everyone leans on, and you’re starting to wonder who you are when you’re not holding it all together, hi. I’d love to meet you.

I work with high-achievers, caretakers, people-pleasers, perfectionists, and those who got really good at being what everyone else needs. Often that comes with anxiety, a harsh inner critic, burnout, plus a quiet “I don’t actually know what I want.” Maybe a breakup, a career change, or a loss finally made you slow down. Before becoming a therapist I worked in film and TV, so I have a soft spot for creative people and entrepreneurs. Since then I’ve worked in community mental health and an intensive outpatient program with a focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I’m trained in Internal Family Systems. I’m LA-based.

My approach to therapy

I have an integrative approach grounded in Internal Family Systems, which means our work will be to get curious about the different parts of you: such as the part that can’t rest, the inner-critic, the one that numbs. None of them are bad. Each one is working hard to protect you, and when they feel understood instead of fought, they often soften.

We’ll go at your pace and build safety first. I trust that you know things about yourself that I don’t yet, and my job is to help you hear them. The goal is a kinder, more authentic relationship with yourself, and room to decide what you really want and value.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and for you to decide if I’m a good fit. I’ll ask what brought you in and what you’re hoping will change, and you can share as much or as little of your story as feels right. You don’t need to prepare or have it figured out. We’ll talk about what working together could look like, and you’ll leave with a clearer sense of next steps. Sessions are by secure video, so you can join from wherever feels private and comfortable. I’ve been in therapy myself and know how vulnerable and meaningful it can be.
