Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with a strong background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches. My work focuses primarily on adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I specialize in helping clients understand how past experiences impact present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I support them in building healthier coping strategies and patterns. I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where clients can be open and honest. My style is direct, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also practical tools that help you feel better and function more effectively in your daily life.

I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming environment and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who identify as LGBTQ+ and those from a wide range of life experiences. Respect, safety, and authenticity are central to the work we do together.

I work with adults only and offer telehealth sessions, allowing for flexibility and accessibility. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your emotions, more confident in yourself, and better equipped to navigate whatever challenges you are facing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and focused on both insight and practical change. I help clients understand how past experiences influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building concrete skills to manage distress, regulate emotions, and improve daily functioning. I believe that insight alone is not enough, therapy should also provide tools that you can actively use in your everyday life.

My style is direct, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are while also helping them move forward in a meaningful way. I focus on creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and able to be honest, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know you and what’s been going on in your life. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’d like to get out of this process. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and patterns, but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to talk about yet. You can go at your own pace.

We’ll also talk a bit about how I work and what therapy with me might look like. If it feels right, we may start identifying some initial patterns or things you can begin working on right away. My goal for the first session is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and like this is a space where you can be yourself.
