Narissa Harris

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in individual and couples therapy in the areas of prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum experiences, with a specific interest in providing support to African-American women, and their families/support systems, within this phase of life. I am a certified continuing education provider through the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT). I am virtually and physically based in the Bay Area (California). I have nearly 20 years of clinical experience, and a lifetime of lived experience, which has assisted me in shaping my cultural work over the years.

I work with my clients from a realistic and direct, yet gentle approach. My approach has assisted those I’ve worked with over the years in learning skills that have assisted many of them in managing the symptoms they are experiencing.

The first session will include a thorough assessment of their symptoms and what has brought them to therapy. We will discuss past experiences, current experiences, and their goals for treatment.
