Great to meet you!

I am a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) whose therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in being person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Dedicated to nurturing and supporting clients throughout their healing journey, I seek to assist others through using creative expression as a way to explore one's sense of self and understand their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.

I have experience working with children, youth, young adults, and adults facing a wide variety of challenges. I received their Master's in Professional Studies in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts

My approach to therapy

I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs through integrating modalities such as Internal Family Systems, motivational interviewing, existentialist therapy, and mindfulness to aid in navigating personal identity, exploring behavior, and managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. I am passionate about creating a space that honors intersectional identities, operates from an anti-oppressive perspective, and is affirming to neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ individuals.

What you can expect from me

We will begin with an intake session where we explore you, your story, and what you are seeking therapy for before setting goals together. We will then move into processing both current and past experiences from a strengths-based perspective. Sometimes this may include artmaking as a way to explore difficult to describe thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
