Great to meet you!

Hey! I’m Natalia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Boston College's bilingual MSW program in 2016. As a therapist with experience working with diverse clients within medical settings, I specialize in offering therapy that is trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, holistic, and affirming so I can support clients who are navigating life transitions, acculturative stress, anxiety, grief, depression, sociopolitical stress, chronic illness, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is relational, person-centered, and expressive. You can expect sessions with me to feel like a casual conversation with therapeutic strategies weaved in. I have spent years working with clients who are coming to counseling for the first time, so my approach includes being transparent about why I am recommending a certain strategy for you to try, taking things at your pace, and collaborating with you to find the the language and tools to for you to understand yourself more.

What you can expect from our first session

I strongly believe that change in therapy happens best when we feel secure and safe enough to explore all of our “good” and “bad” feelings, so in the first session you will find that I focus on getting to know you as a person in order to grow our therapeutic relationship. My hope is for clients to leave sessions with me feeling truly heard, validated, and seen while also giving them new strategies to try so they feel more equipped to navigate the stressors in their lives.
