Great to meet you!

Welcome! I understand that taking that first step into therapy can be scary, but I'm here to help you along your journey. When you're in the room with me, you'll be met with a safe and supportive environment filled with kindness, patience, and empathy. We'll work together to explore, process, and problem-solve whatever challenges you may be experiencing to help you achieve your goals. What I've learned from having more than 10+ years of experience in this field, is that each client is unique and I tailor my approach to who I'm sitting in the room with. With professional experience ranging from private/group practices to intensive/inpatient facilities, I feel confident in my abilities to help support you in your treatment. Whether that be challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, family/relationship issues, or life stressors, I'm ready to help you unpack and process whatever you're bringing into the room.

My approach to therapy

I like to take a collaborative approach in treatment. You're the expert of you, I'm bringing the psychology background, and together we'll work towards meeting your goals. I enjoy helping clients identify their needs, learn to prioritize their emotional and mental well-being, and find fulfillment in the here and now. Sometimes this means cleaning out old wounds so they heal properly or creating structured plans for the future. Whatever your life stressors may be, I'm here to provide support and guidance so that you don't have to navigate these challenges alone.

What you can expect from me

My goal for our first session is to learn more about you, your history, and what is bringing you in for treatment. I want to know about your short and long term goals and expectations for treatment. Having this understanding will help me learn how to best support you. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have about me, my experience, or the treatment process so that you can feel more comfortable in your therapeutic journey.
