Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I'm passionate about helping women and mothers to thrive. I love working with pregnant and postpartum mothers through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and all the ups and downs that come with having a child. I also specialize in birth trauma which is an all too common experience. I truly believe that with the right support, moms can thrive! Additionally, I have extensive experience with helping women recover from childhood trauma. I've been practicing for 10 years specializing in trauma, attachment, and both maternal and infant mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both trauma-informed and attachment focused. I believe our early relationships shape much of how we interact in the world and what we believe about ourselves and others. I am a relational therapist and understand that what comes up in outside relationships will likely also come up in the therapy room, which is welcome for exploration. I am trained in hypnosis, ego state therapy, and sensorimotor psychotherapy. I tend to combine some combination of these for sessions. I am also a Mother Hunger Trained Facilitator and a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner.

What you can expect from me

In our initial session, I provide an opportunity for you to share your story and why you are seeking therapy. I know this can be an extremely vulnerable experience, so I seek to create a safe and warm atmosphere for you to feel comfortable sharing. Together we will co-create goals for our time together.
