Great to meet you!

I work with adults to help resolve everyday life struggles. Sometimes this takes the form of being your best listener, other times I will help you learn coping skills for anxious and depressive symptoms. I can teach you techniques to deal with the symptoms of personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and thought disorders. Finally, I work with individuals who are in difficult relationships (romantic, parent/child, friendships, work) find ways to become more independent and self-confident.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a person-first approach to therapy, focusing on you while also listening to hear how your experiences, thoughts, and feelings are impacting your life.

What you can expect from our first session

I draw from my experience as a therapist to help you identify what problems you want to address, identify solutions that you believe will both work for you and be workable, and then continue to encourage you while you make those changes. Sometimes that includes homework or thought assignments between sessions.
