Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 5 years of experience in community mental health and substance use treatment experience. In those environments, I’ve supported people through crisis, instability, recovery, trauma, and major life transitions. That work has shaped how I show up as a therapist: grounded, steady, nonjudgmental, and able to hold space for the full range of what it means to be human.

I work best with thoughtful, sensitive, and deeply feeling people who are navigating change, loss, complicated relationships, or the process of figuring out who they are and what they want next.

My clients may be navigating through chronic mental health conditions, relationship challenges, infertility, grief, betrayal, family conflict, or major life transitions. Many are also living with the lasting impact of a difficult or dysfunctional childhood. I also work with people managing PTSD, substance use concerns, bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety, and panic, as well as those shaped by a family history of mental health or substance use challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems–informed work, while tailoring therapy to the person sitting in front of me. I believe therapy should offer both space to understand yourself deeply and gentle direction when you're ready to make changes.

I also value collaboration beyond the therapy room. When appropriate and with your permission, I enjoy working alongside psychiatrists, primary care providers, substance use providers, and other members of a person's support team. Mental health rarely exists in isolation, and sometimes the best care comes from creating a thoughtful team around you.

Most importantly, I don't believe you need to become a different person to be worthy of a meaningful life. You can be complicated, sensitive, imperfect, and still be enough. Therapy is not about fixing everything that makes you who you are. It's about making space for all of it, understanding yourself with greater compassion, and deciding what you want to carry forward.

All parts of you are welcome here.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope to get from therapy, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past. You’ll also have space to ask questions and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin—our first session is simply the starting point for understanding where you are and where you’d like to go.
