Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional clinical counselor and registered art therapist I believe in the transformative power of creative expression. I have been practicing for nearly 13 years—fully licensed since 2017—and have worked in a variety of settings with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I have found that traditional talk therapy combined with art making or other creative forms of expression has been instrumental for my clients in promoting problem solving, self-discovery, storytelling, healing and change.

My approach to therapy

I believe that one of the key indicators for successful treatment is finding a provider who is a good fit. My hope is to create a supportive and inclusive environment in which you feel accepted and understood in our sessions. My approach is relational, and I prioritize creating a strong therapeutic rapport as it will serve as the foundation for the work we do together. I view active collaboration as essential in making progress toward your goals, which we will define together throughout the course of treatment.

What you can expect from me

I often tell my clients that healing is non-linear and that part of the process is leaning into self-acceptance during each step of the journey as we continue to learn and grow. I strive to meet my clients where they are at, going at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe that treatment looks different for everyone. My ultimate goal is to promote healthier and more fulfilling connections with ourselves and others, gaining insight and self-awareness in the process.
